How to remove impurities with wheel sand washing machine

Removing impurities with a wheel sand washing machine involves a combination of mechanical action, water spray, and proper machine operation. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to effectively remove impurities using a wheel sand washing machine:

Prepare the Material:
Gather the material that needs to be cleaned, which typically includes sand and aggregates mixed with impurities like clay, silt, and debris.

Load the Machine:
Load the material into the inlet of the wheel sand washing machine. Ensure that the machine is not overloaded, as this can affect its cleaning efficiency.

Adjust Machine Settings:
Set the appropriate machine parameters, such as rotation speed, water flow rate, and duration of the washing process. These settings may vary based on the specific machine model and the type of material being cleaned.

Start the Machine:
Turn on the wheel sand washing machine to initiate the washing process. The machine's rotating wheel or drum will start to agitate and scrub the material.

Water Spray Activation:
Activate the water spray system. The water spray is essential for dislodging impurities from the material and creating a slurry.

Agitation and Scrubbing:
As the machine operates, the rotating wheel's paddles or blades will come into contact with the material, agitating and scrubbing it. This mechanical action helps break up clumps and dislodge impurities from the sand particles.

Water Spray Interaction:
The water spray system should continuously spray water onto the material being agitated. The water will help further separate impurities from the sand particles and prevent reattachment.

Formation of Slurry:
As the agitation, scrubbing, and water spray interact, a slurry will form. This slurry consists of sand, water, and dislodged impurities.

Continuous Process:
The material will move through the machine's interior, continuously undergoing agitation, scrubbing, and water spray interaction. This movement ensures that all particles are thoroughly cleaned.

Impurity Removal:
The impurities, including clay, silt, and debris, will be dislodged from the sand particles and suspended in the slurry.

Overflow and Discharge:
The overflow or excess water, along with the suspended impurities, will be directed out of the machine through appropriate channels or outlets designed to carry away waste materials.

Cleaned Sand Discharge:
The cleaned sand, which is now free from the impurities, will continue to move through the machine and eventually exit through the discharge outlet.

Optional Dewatering (if applicable):
If the machine is equipped with a dewatering screen or cyclone, excess water will be removed from the cleaned sand, producing drier material suitable for various applications.

Shut Down the Machine:
Once the cleaning process is complete, turn off the wheel sand washing machine.
